Is it just me, or didn't we lose Marcel Marceau years ago? Evidently not, and none of us had him in this weekend's death pool. Mime's have always freaked me out, but there are two laugh out loud mime scenes from recent cinema:- At the end of Tootsie, Dustin Hoffman is strolling through Central Park when he passes by a mime trying to show off. A frustrated Hoffman just walks right up to him and knocks him over.
- One of the better tellings of the joke in The Aristocrats comes from Billy the Mime (played by Steven Banks).
Other than those two gems, Mimes drive me to drink. Oh who am I kidding, I can drive myself there.
